Hi! My name is Melinda and I help overwhelmed and lost humans just like you: ones that have it within them to calm their chaos, and desire to build resilience while clinging on to hope; but just need the support and tools to get there.

I help overwhelmed and lost humans just like you. Those who feel pressured to be good or perfect, unable to catch their breath, and find themselves living by someone else’s standards or expectations. Those who are struggling to maintain day-to-day activities, fighting and lashing out at loved ones, or finding all the reasons NOT to go places other people are; such as Walmart or social gatherings with family, friends, or coworkers.
I help my clients find confidence, compassion, and forgiveness by equipping them with the tools they need to understand their thoughts and feelings about themselves; and heal from the lingering yucky impressions of life experiences.
Many of today's solutions for adjusting to life's phases and experiences are just not cutting it anymore and leading so many to feel like they are failing at life and not capable of managing things they use to. I know that your circumstances are unique, so every move in therapy will be tailored to you and your needs with your end goal in mind.
First, we will chat about the growing pains life is throwing your way which is causing you to feel shame, guilt, and failure; resulting in irritability, inability to focus or complete simple tasks, and broken relationships. Then we will work on shifting your thinking and adjusting your pattern of living while embracing growth and healing that will be most effective for you. Through our work together, you'll be better at understanding your needs and how to communicate with those who are most important to you, being present during the best times of your life, and becoming an expert at managing your chaos.

My training in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C), means I have the experience, skills, and training you need and deserve when reaching for your highest potential. But at the end of the day, you want to know you're working with someone who "gets" what it means to be completely overwhelmed, lost in life, and struggling to balance it all, right?
I get it because my parenting has been terrible at times, postpartum kicked my tail (twice), grief rocked me to my core, and imposter syndrome has stolen my confidence as a therapist more than once. I know that dark isolation can be cozy and prevent you from seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. So when we work together, you won't just get a trained therapist. You'll get someone who truly understands what your going through.

All consultations are free.
Initial sessions are $225 up to 90 mins.
Weekly individual sessions are $200 and couples weekly sessions are $200.
